Homework Task "Make up your own story and tell or present it"

The story was about ten little kids who loved reading. They had a mean father who wanted them to stop reading and start watching TV. Their mother said they were growing the wrong way, they were meant to grow down instead of up. One day they went to school and the teacher was very proud of them for ignoring their parents and doing their work. The End. I stood up and told this story to my homework tutor. I learned that standing up to present something can be scary, especially if the person is shy. I also learned about taking outside inspiration, for example from books I am reading, for my own stories, but without copying them exactly.
